Empower Your Leadership: Apply for the 2025 WIA Young Leaders Programme

The Women in Africa (WIA) Young Leaders Programme 2025, now in its fourth year, invites African women aged 25–40 to join a transformative initiative to amplify their leadership and drive continental progress. Supported by global partners Dior, Lazard, and KPMG, this programme identifies and nurtures women poised to shape Africa’s future. Applications are open until 19 June 2025.

Programme Overview

The WIA Young Leaders Programme offers a comprehensive platform for personal and professional growth, including:

• High-Level Networking: Engage with CEOs, policymakers, media professionals, and entrepreneurs.

• Tailored Development: Participate in one-on-one coaching, specialized workshops, and training in communication, governance, and leadership.

• Mentorship: Receive guidance from industry experts to refine your vision and impact.

• Paris Immersion: Join an exclusive business trip to Paris (November–December 2025) for high-level meetings and global exposure.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must:

• Be women aged 25–40 (with flexibility for exceptional professionals).

• Be born in an African country or have African parentage.

• Demonstrate leadership, emotional intelligence, and commitment to Africa’s development.

• Be fluent in English, French, or Portuguese (multilingualism preferred).

• Show self-made success and potential for strategic roles.

Selection Process

From June to July 2025, applicants will be evaluated on academic credentials, professional achievements, leadership potential, and social impact. Shortlisted candidates will face a final interview with a distinguished international jury of 12 members. The selected cohort will be announced in September 2025 via digital platforms and media, celebrating their potential to drive change.
