Awards 2025. Women’s contributions across farming,
agribusiness sectors, and agricultural
research are evolving globally. These awards
celebrate this dedication and
share the journeys of these remarkable women.

Marking its fourth year, the German Agricultural
Society (DLG) is hosting this
initiative in partnership with “Women in Ag
magazine”, offering female professionals worldwide
a platform to showcase their experiences and
highlight their significant accomplishments.
Previously, applicants from over 40
countries have participated, united by
a shared purpose: gaining visibility while forming
a powerful community that empowers and links them together

Award Categories

The “Women in Ag Award” celebrates winners across four fields, with three honorees per category:

Farming: Recognizes women driving sustainable practices, innovation, and future-ready farm management.
Agribusiness: Highlights female leaders optimizing value chains through entrepreneurship and digital transformation.
-Education: Awards educators and communicators who demystify agriculture and mentor future talent.
– Technology and Research Honors pioneers developing transformative agricultural technologies.

Eligibility 
Who can apply:
– Women globally working in:
• Farming/agribusiness • Animal husbandry • Research • Education
• Agricultural media (journalists/bloggers/influencers)
– Must align with one award category

Application Required materials:
✓ Completed online form
✓ Professional portrait
✓ 2+ high-quality action photos (agriculture-related)
✓ 2-minute video (personal story + sector contributions)

Language:
– Written materials in English
