The Youth Opportunities Trust Alliance (YOTA), in partnership with the Ford Foundation, invites African youth leaders to apply for the COP29 Youth Delegate Programme to attend the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) from 11–22 November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This fully funded opportunity empowers young change-makers to shape global climate policies. Applications are open until 16 October 2024.
Programme Overview
The programme supports African youth to participate in COP29, known as the “Finance COP,” where global leaders agreed on at least $300 billion annually for climate finance by 2035. Benefits include:
