The GIB 2025 Startup Challenge is a global competition created to support and accelerate startups that are addressing critical social and environmental challenges. Hosted in Valencia, Spain, the challenge provides a unique platform for purpose-driven ventures to gain visibility, connect with international stakeholders, and secure funding to scale their impact.

This initiative is open to early-stage businesses that incorporate sustainability, inclusion, and innovation into their core mission. Startups will benefit from mentorship, exposure, and the opportunity to present their solutions to a global audience.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the GIB 2025 Startup Challenge, applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Be a legally registered startup or early-stage company.
• Have a strong focus on creating measurable social or environmental impact.
• Be led by a founder or team capable of growing the venture and making use of support services.
• Open to global applicants, though participation in virtual or in-person activities in Valencia may be required.
• The application and pitch must be submitted in English.
