Role Overview

This role bridges the Food & Agriculture Program and Funder Collaborations Department, focusing on coordinating high-impact convenings and projects to advance climate philanthropy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Food & Agriculture (50%):

    • Build a network of climate funders focused on food systems.

    • Plan virtual and in-person thematic meetings, managing agendas, logistics, and communications.

    • Maintain funder databases and identify collaboration opportunities.

  • Funder Collaborations (50%):

    • Support 2–3 annual international convenings, including session design and VIP speaker coordination.

    • Manage cross-team planning, documentation, and post-event follow-ups.

    • Prepare reading materials and handle logistical communications.

Duration: 12 months (possible extension based on funding).
Location: Remote (U.S.-based), with ~20 days of annual travel (U.S. and international).
Salary: $90,000–$95,000 (Bay Area/NYC); $85,000–$90,000 (other U.S. regions).
Time Zones: Preferred 2–4 hours overlap with Pacific and Central European Time.

  • Attributes: Independent, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities; committed to inclusivity and climate equity.

  • Availability: Willing to travel up to 20 days annually.
